Aconcagua Training – May 22-25th 2009 workouts
Friday, May 22 – 5K run with group from the gym followed by 2 Gin & Tonic’s at Rosie McCanns. ![]()
Saturday – swam 20 laps (freestyle)
Sunday - rest.
Monday - trainer:�
all exercises wearing ~15lbs weight vest and Spantik mountaineering boots:
- lunge – twists (appx 50 yards)
– bosu steps (side & up), 20 reps both sides, 3 rounds
– pull-up hangs – reverse grip, hold for 15, pull up, slow down, hang for 30, repeat once; 3 sets
– bosu plank – knee kicks – 20 per side fast, 3 sets
– bosu pushups – 3 sets to failure.
